Scully
Two mates and nephew have them. They really like them. Like all Brownings and Mirokus ( and Winchester’s ) they just seem to come up right.

figgy
They will suffer the exact same problems all other Browning Miroku guns can. Pitting to the bottom firing pin. Stocks cracking on some due to being American black walnut. Stuff as hell top lever. Must admit the few I've shouldered did come up better than the Beretta 20 bores I've tried.. I'm not knocking Browning's per se I'm on my fourth. They just have faults due to design.

I appreciate that thanks, are they all American black walnut? It did feel good, I had heard the 16 is on a 20 bore action, not sure if it's true, no shop round here has any in, if it is the case think I would want to handle one first before making a decision Do you mind me asking which browning you have? I heard browning had solved the firing pin problem on newer models.
Scully
All the Brownings and Winchester’s I’ve ever owned have had pitted pins, but I can’t say it’s ever been an issue.

Not sure whether the 16g is on a 20 action or not, but they still weigh in excess of 7lb which somewhat defeats the point of a 16g. The Lincoln range however are on a truly scaled down action weighing around 6 1/2 lbs, an ideal weight for a 16g in my opinion. OB
figgy
Button I have a Maxus for my Wildfowling, I've had a Winchester sx3 and two Browning Cynergy sporters in the past. I like the Browning Crown in 20 bore and 12 bore. Unless you get one from Belgium or has been restocked they come with Black American Walnut. 2 hours ago, browning123 said: I heard browning had solved the firing pin problem on newer models. I was told the same, alas no they have not.
DUNKS
My nine year old 525 12 does not have pitted firing pins and is a lovely bit of light walnut. I don't think you can go far wrong with the gun.
button
I have to say for the price of the gun it had a cracking bit of wood on it
figgy
Two mates with grade five and grade six both had small cracks. Not all will crack same with certain Perazzi guns. Just prone to it.
