If you're firearms ticket is open yes as long as you're satisfied that it is safe, if it is a restricted ticket then your police authority will have to inspect the land and they decide wether it is safe to use fac there or not.

If you have a restricted ticket then once you get a new permission to use FAC, just contact firearms licencing and they'll tell you if it's clear for your caliber or not.

I've always found Northumbria very efficient in this, I used to just email them the name of the farm and location. Very often I'd get a reply within a couple of hours to let me know I was ok to crack on.

If you are still shooting in the Rothbury area just get in touch with Northumbria and they'll help you out.

Yes, you will still need the other farmers permission to use a FAC rifle on his land, if you have an open ticket and you have his permission then you are good to go.

if you have a open fac, then you can shoot any where you think safe, if closed then police will have to look at the ground.
