chrisjpainter
Tonight I got to watch him - for a round and a bit. He looks really mightily impressive. He's young and raw, but that kid's got some serious timing behind him. Big fella at 6'4" but less reach than some of the lads on the circuit. Even so, he could be one to watch in a few years - perhaps a new mike tyson, without the bitey tendencies! Anyone think he can make the Big Three a Big Four? Raja Clavata
Just watched it and discussed with my lad, the only real conclusion you could draw was good timing and apparent power from his technique. My lad thinks Dubois would beat Dillian Whyte. Sounds like Joe Joyce could be next up, I don't think I've seen much of Joyce in the ring but I hope his boxing is better than his interviews. Looks like I wasn't the only one to spot that...I've seen more articulate gibbons.
washerboy
Joyce I'm sure was dragged from his seat for that interview, he looked like a rabbit in the headlights. Dubois seems a nice lad and at 22 doesn't seem brash like a lot of young fighters. I think he should fight an American next, charlies Martin springs to find, he is on the comeback trail and was a world champion even if only for a few months. sam triple
Seen a few of his fights on you tube wont pay to watch ,but he seems to good thus far like most things only time will tell
Gordon R
Decent hand speed, power and movement. My only reservation is how good is his chin. We have had a fair few who could dish it out, but found wanting in the chin department - Frank Bruno and David Price looked brilliant until someone hit them back. So far, I am impressed. serrac
Wow! wasn't expecting that. Thought Dubois wasn't in the same class as AJ - looked too easy to hit against Hrgović. Boy was I wrong...
old man
Tin hat firmly in place! That so called sport would/could have no defence against a total ban. Brain injury central? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 It could then go underground for the top echelons to enjoy?🫣
mmamonster
My money was on dubios, aj has had all his fights hand picked, dodged wilder and fury in there prime. Would be good for dubios to go against Usyk or Zhang.
chrisjpainter
What was that; 6 knockdowns (one not given) in 4 and a half rounds? Joshua had a battering! What concerns me is his team around him. Why weigh in at you heaviest when you're going up against someone who punches like a jackhammer, but can be heavy on his feet and can blow himself out? Why not give him manoeuvrability and then let his natural punching power come through later. Either Joshua's a bad learner, or his got bad teachers. But enough of Joshua, that was some show from Dubois! What a way to show he deserves his Usyk rematch!
