London Best
Never had a Land Rover fail an mot in 40 years. I make sure they’re right before I take ‘em.

Same with the emission test , I plan for it to pass then hope.
Saltings
if you work on your own vehicles and keep on top of them no bills at mot as you are on top of maintenance regular oil changes brakes and tyres fix what needs fixing no big bills
washerboy
As above, a friend does the oil change on mine every 10-12k miles, he checks the breaks, suspension and levels etc,Everytime. Due its mot 15th February and its just had an oil change and inspection so hopefully will fly through. 92000 on a 63 plate, so not really old in the grand scheme of things. washerboy
Just looked on line at my last 3 mot mileage, 18k a year. No wonder I need it servicing regularly. Had its cam belt, water pump etc done a few months ago so should be good for another 5 years.
