London Best
Corbett is awesome reading. A very modest man, no big kill as in many big game hunter’s books.

Absolutely agree with that, and I like his stuff. Dudley, the worst dog in the world was pretty entertaining.

I’ve not seen that one. Will look out for it. 1 hour ago, Penelope said: Your thoroughly enjoy them and then be looking for yet another gun, one for tigers! I’ve just sold my tiger gun only last week. I’m getting too old for tigers now. Jim Corbett shot some of his tigers with just a .275 Rigby. I was looking at it on Rigby’s stand at a game fair a couple of years ago. Edited January 28, 2020 by London Best
Big Al
Winterdance by Gary Paulsen. True story of Paulsens journey from trapper and novice dog sledder to running the Iditarod. The descriptions of dogs, landscapes and hardships are just fantastic. Edited January 28, 2020 by Big Al Spelling

I know, I have watched all of the stuff on YouTube about him and the gun. There is also a drama on you tube about his encounters with one of the man eaters. It's quite good.
