WalkedUp
My wife’s grandmother used to live trap grey squirrels on her land and her only means of dispatch was by way of the water butt 🙈

A bucket of cold water over him as he came out the last time stopped him.

Perazzishot
As a person who does this on a regular basis, call police 101 get a reference number after explaining you are legally dispatching a trapped fox on ground you have been given permission on by the owner of the land. PS an air rifle at the the legal limit is sufficient! I've used air rifles, .22 rim and shotgun and dispatched hundreds in back gardens in major cities! Really!!!? To many "pest controllers" wildlife charities doing that all ready! And not just the odd one! Really need to stop and consider there actions!!! Just making it someone else's problem and causing havoc/imbalance to local wildlife and take livestock. Most can't hunt/ den/survive and a lot have mange. Quickly end up dieing, attacked, shot or road kill. NB RSPB shot 40 plus foxes at Minsmere alone last year! Bet that doesn't come out!
