Thommo52
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how and where i can find the model of my gunmark kestrel by it's serial number?
enfieldspares
I think that "Kestrel" is its model name per se? There was the the Kestrel, the Sabel, the Black Sabel and in sidelocks the Crown and the Viscount and the Royale? For sure the serial number or the mark of the Spanish maker will be somewhere on the action.
bruno22rf
Not forgetting the Silver Kestrel.I seem to remember the guns were made mainly by 2 makers and a couple of letters stamped under the barrel denotes which. strimmer_13
No idea. I had the 3" magnum kestrel, beast of a gun and shot really well with it. Sold it to my mate, but hes panicking now and wants to sell it due to him seeing it as not cost effective opening the chokes up due to this rubbish of steel shot in a few years. Its choked full and half.

Its choked full and half. Tell your mate to stop panicking and try some steel through it. I have a nice kestrel in 10 bore flavour. That has had plenty of steel shoved down its full/full pipes. But the 10 bores were likely to be Zabala's as they did make them . Like many imported "branded " guns they came from several sources .
