wymberley
Hydrophoney? Is it just me or can anyone else remember than when you held a ripe strawberry by its little shoot and popped it in your mouth the shoot would pull free and the fruit was soft with no hard or fibrous like 'core' , was juicy and tasted of - well, strawberries and not full of water and was tasteless. Think the Germans might have to change their name for this fruit.

Flyboy1950
Have you noticed that commercial cut roses are no longer scented also. I think a lot of it is due to the EU restricting varieties.

Smokersmith
Japan's the place to go. 350 quid for a single strawberry, but apparently it tastes nice !! (Recently on Paul Hollywood's Japan adventures show).
