Saltings
you could have it reemed out to 2 3/4 as pressures are the same or reload your own
Gas seal
Hi not sure if they are still available, Gamebore pure gold 65mm cases 16 grams load. I purchased these with plastic wads and the cases are good for reloading. I will have a look at my cases to see if any others are 65mm. I used the cartridges with plastic wads as they were better for reloading.

How can you say this without knowing what the gun in question was proofed at originally ? These will not be the same as modern proof pressures . Not to mention that in doing so the gun will be rendered out of proof .
Gas seal
Hi photo may be of interest . It shows the size and pressure.
London Best
When I was at school (long time ago) those stated pressures were obviously different!

Gunman
It would be interesting to know just how many gunsmiths in the UK have chamber reamers on hand in all bores ,410 to 12 at least . I will bet a £1 its not many .

figgy
I wouldn't have thought many either, being a dying trade. Not many gunmakers left to apprentice and train them or gun shops to use them. Too many closing. Good gunsmiths will be ran off their feet. The days of gunsmiths making all their own tools are long gone, they'll make bits and pieces but not reamers, they'll be bought in along with lots of other tooling.
