London Best
I once had a man tell me he had never seen a badger, and how rare they were. I could show him three occupied sets within less than 500 yards of his house.

Badgers are another creature that are becoming urbanised

discobob
I have only ever seen one live badger which came out of a hedgerow on a narrow lane by Exeter when I was driving to a farm B&B while working down there in the early hours of the morning. I thought it was an old fella however I saw a program the other week which makes me think it was an albino. I stopped and let it past. Saying that, I do know that there are at least two badger sets within spitting distance of our house - just never seen them although our next-door but one (still over a hundred meters away) has them on their land regularly.
