shootgun
Went out after muntjac on one of my permissions and after culling couple of does, caught up with this very big buck... Hopefully will meet again after the rut. Edited February 19, 2021 by shootgun
JDog
Is that for real? It looks like a buck from Eastern Europe.

How close were you when you took them? I was stalking in Oxfordshire on Monday and saw another Roe buck in velvet that I reckon was bigger than that. But they all look bigger in velvet than they really are. I shot the doe that was with him. Edited February 19, 2021 by London Best

I shot the doe that was with him. He let me get close to about 25 yards , before he started moving away slowly. I’m not shooting roe on this estate, unless injured or poorly... I did shoot 17 muntjac from last November though...

Our ground is FC controlled and we have minimum cull numbers set for us, including Roe.
