Hello, his work on the BBC programme fixing up peoples treasured items same as the others is nice to watch, I like knowing the history behind the item and some can be quite heart warming, saying this there must be lots of people in UK who can do this type of restorations but never lucky to be chosen for TV,

Back in the 1970s I did an apprenticeship at what was then a large Ford dealership in Oxford, whilst I was there they opened a car restoration division and I recall seeing one of those tools being used to form a new body panel from a sheet of steel...that and seeing molten lead being applied as body filler - amazing skills.
