Hi Guys , just looking for your opinions on buying trouser leggings ?? I am fed up buying them and after a short while start  getting wet legs I’ve had  Barbour and more recently seeland Crieff both a waste of time for Beating in any suggestions out there please

Best advice i was given for something to wear when beating was ski trousers, warm and waterproof and less hassle than putting on over trousers. Can be found cheap at times in TK Maxx

I can’t be doing with ‘treggings’, although some prefer them.
I prefer proper waxed cotton trousers, as they just brush off most things, except barbed wire of course, but not much does.
I also have a really good pair of salopettes from CC, which brush off even barbed wire, but they ain’t cheap.

I've got a pair of Jack Pyke over trousers, fill length zip, they are lined and warm( very warm in summer) I've never yet been wet in them, wore them for two seasons beating with no rips, and I don't avoid the cover.

Now worn two or three times a week to keep the ticks out, probably a lot cheaper than other makes.

My seeland treggins also proved worse than useless when it got wet. Tried to complain to them through their website and also Facebook but was ignored. Mate swears by Jack Pyle ones so will give them a try
