Has NOBS gone bust

Recommended Posts

Just received my renewal email telling me to log in to NOBS to pay. When I tried to log in their was a problem and I was not able to get onto their site.

Went to have a look at their business details and found this. I then received another email telling me that they had taken my £25 renewal out.

It would appear that NOBS lunges from COMPULSORY STRIKE OFF to COMPULSORY STRIKE OFF.     Not looking too good then!

The cover on their membership insurance was the most comprehensive on offer back then, also considerably cheaper than the others, especially that lot who circulate a magazine of sorts advertising all sorts of ....er.... mainly their own organisation ..and deals on cars, etc.

I don’t doubt it; I just couldn’t see the point of an organisation for beaters.
There’s no need to join any organisation if insurance is a priority, you can customise your own with Gunplan.

I have never had any dealings with them but my friend in Sussex had some really good days out with them early on.  They soon lost favour with the shoot organisers because of the number of unreliable beaters who put their names down for days and then never turned up for what ever reason. Causing severe embarrassment.
