fern01
We are now going to export huge amounts of gas to Europe to help them out with their shortfall in supply from Russia I think it should be on two conditions 1. They completely stop sending over the illegal immigrants in small boats across the Channel 2. They stop playing silly beggars with the customs checks at Dover

Just a mardy bunch on a slippery slope to oblivion...I hope. Their gas problem is because some smart alec inthe EU and Germany tied themselves to Rusia...NOW how stupid is that...they must be the dim of the dim....you always have an alternative. As mentioned elsewhere, with the proposed Neu Connect subsea link to Germany they are still pushing to link our electricity system further to Europe to export our renewables and which inflates the market here meaning we pay higher "market prices" due to being in an EU market...... We import base load and export peak renewable generation. One works in tandem better for both of us. Unfortunately we privatised our generation and distribution so its almost an open market.
