Sounds like some screwdriver time is needed on the headlight alignment screws - after checking the bulb lugs are seated into their cavities correctly. Dave-G
If the clear plastic lenses have gone yellow they can be 'refreshed' with fine wet n dry then rubbing compound then metal finishing polish - or even toothpaste. There's plenty of youtube video how to's available.
Walker570
Fitted a lightbar today working on main beam, huge improvement. The dip beam is still showing about 5 yards infron but found the adjustment knob on the headlight adjustment was missing. I can make up a new one si may find that the lights are actually set for when carrying a full load. Will still put some LEDs in the dipped beams anyway. Another spin off with the light bar is it also throws light to both sides and this illuminates the area you are turning into. VERY useful off road. The standard lights do not do this and the cut off is sharp so no illumination either side at all. Getting there slowly but in general I am more than pleased with the vehicle. Walker570
Well, things went from bad to worse. Had the heater plug light go to orange and stay on , so took it back to the garage and after a short time he readjusted the electronics and back to normal. Got halfway down the A14 and it died on me , then suddenly came back to life then died again. Switched off and tried starting it again and away it went as per normal but with the orange light showing again. Limped back home and took it back where it now resides as they sort it out. Fortunately it is covered by a 6 month warranty. Gone are the days when you kept an old Woodbine packet in the glove box and used the silver paper to replace a blown fuse. They have had it two days so far and no news yet. Great disappointment as overall I was impressed with the motor. It does what it says on the box. My Jag X Type engine light kept coming on and eventually my normal nechanic sent me to a guy who specialised in Jags and he had it a couple of days and tough wood it has run far better and no further trouble. All these lectronics are a pain the rear end.

Walker570
Duster returned yesterday now fully operational. Electrical gismo parts replaced under warranty. Hopefully will have no furrher problems with it. As a rule I am very pleased with it . It does just what I need it to do. Lots of room in the back with seats folded. $ wheel drive if I need it but apart fromtesting it on a slippery slope I have not needed to switch from 2 wheel as yet off road. Really muddy slippery slope out of the farm yard it went up in 2 wd no problem and this is on serious town tyres. To be fair to the supplier, he purchased it as many second hand car dealers do, from auction and had he not driven it for any distance would not have noticed the problem. I only noticed a slight tendency to hesitate after a couple of days. I suspect the previous owner had chopped it in for a new one and as happens the dealer put it straight into auction. It is a regular problem with the modern ciomputer controlled cars so I am told. Edited December 23, 2022 by Walker570
