I have a short attention span to this sort of work 🤣🤣🤣 especially when not getting paid 👍👍👍😉😉
harrycatcat1
I've just ordered 105 x 145mm x 3m decking boards for £1020. Don't tell me you can get it for half that please 🙏 I will worry about the "railings" once the decking is completed 👍

harrycatcat1
Next conundrum is big grooves up or little grooves up 🤔🤔🤔 some say big grooves down but this that I'm taking up is big grooves up. What do you think ?

It's good for kindling but is too full of chemicals to burn 'clean' in your stove. The green colour is Chromated Cupric Arsenate, which after the wood content has burnt off leaves an arsenic infused ash .... I beieve it's ilegal to burn treated wood in the US and it's deffo not reccommended here in the UIK. http://www.ecotreecare.co.uk/firewood-warning.htm

old'un
The decking you are taking up does not look that bad, or does the picture make it look better than it is?

Well, I can understand how you have got that impression because some of it is not too bad. However some of it is as rotten as a pear. I was cutting the hedge a while back and my foot went through and I thought that I'd broken my leg. The dilemma is if you replace some and someone falls through that you have not changed its not worth it in my opinion. The wood decking is 1k but if any of my family went through its a small price to pay. Obviously it will cost more for materials but my labour is free.
