bigroomboy
Second Ogden's. If you go for the leather ones you can ask what leathers he has available and choose your own combo. I've got a slip, range bag, game carrier and game bag. All really solid.

Charliedog
Croots are very good, british and reasonably priced, Fine Shooting Accessories even better but quite a bit more money

Firstly, if the overall sleeve is in decent condition, get a new zip fitted. I had a new zip fitted in one of mine (old Brady leather vinyl look leatherette) about 20 years ago - and still going strong. Secondly, a personal 'dislike' is a sleeve that is much too long for the gun. I shoot 28" barrels with a 14 1/2 stock, so quite a short sleeve does me. I bought the shortest Croots I could get a few years ago and even my longest gun (30"barrels) has at least 4" of 'spare' space, which means the gun slops about in it. Measure your gun (the longest that you will need the sleeve for) and see if you can get one a decent fit. Apart from the length, my Croots is fine - and I have been very impressed by Brady ones in the past (I have a canvas and two of the leatherette) and mine are 30 to 50 years old and doing fine. I also have a Quality Gunslips one - nice quality and reasonably priced. Edited January 22, 2023 by JohnfromUK
222mark
A mate of mine just bought a John Shooter leather slip and cartridge bag. The quality is stunning for the money. Worth a look.
