JKD
Very local to me, in a built up area close to open countryside/farm land, I saw a fledgeling magpie this morning ๐ง I was shocked, but 100% it was a fledgeling,,,,, very small with stubby tail feathers and struggling to fly properly. Never seen these this late in the year, has anyone else ?

Yup, seen those,,,, and even saw a woodie building a nest in October. Never seen a juvenile magpie any later than around July.ย

Two pigeons have been on the balcony outside my office window for the last hour or so, he preened her and she liked it, then they did the deed in front of me (no shame) so there should be some little ones about soonย
