Fledgeling magpie

Very local to me, in a built up area close to open countryside/farm land, I saw a fledgeling magpie this morning ๐Ÿ˜ง I was shocked, but 100% it was a fledgeling,,,,, very small with stubby tail feathers and struggling to fly properly.

Never seen these this late in the year, has anyone else ?

Two pigeons have been on the balcony outside my office window for the last hour or so, he preened her and she liked it, then they did the deed in front of me (no shame) so there should be some little ones about soonย :wub:

They do it on the bird spikes on our garden swing, but that probably means a chick born around February?
