Cranfield
How are you "celebrating" Guy Fawkes Night this year ? I don't know anyone who is having a home bonfire or fireworks.

Markio
Never bother, they bored me as a kid and appeal even less now. The dog doesn't care about fireworks so that's good. He wouldn't even lift his head off the floor if one went off outside.

Same here not as bad as our last one, we used to have to resort to sedatives for him. We go to a small ish local ish display, it costs a fiver to get in but they chuck a good few grands worth of fireworks up for that.
monkeyjaimz
My girlfriend lives in a 4th floor apartment in leeds so we usually get to see most of the city lit up from her windows

Axe
We're off to Cuckfield an organised display. They run the display to music and the Southern FM radio station runs a show from there too. The kids love it and the bonfire is always very big. Coupled with food and drink vans dotted about, it make a great night out.
Wookie
I really can't be bothered with them this year. Apparently we have one in the town (an organised one) but I need to be up early and the little ******* in the area annoyed me last night by letting off rockets and bangers at some daft time at night. That's put me in a bit of an "anti" mood with fireworks right now. Bah Humbug. I shall however, raise a glass to Mr. Fawkes in the hope that his spirit and ideals live on. Browning
I'll be celebrating it by having to try to pacify my Jack Russell who will be barking out of fright EVERY NIGHT from mid October till mid November. Like LV we will be at home with every TV in the house turned on and the volume up, curtains drawn, trying to pacify one of my terrified GSP's who will mostly be shaking with fear. She was showing great promise a couple of years ago, broken to gunshot very well, and just starting out in the field with me. Then the ar**holes a couple of doors away decided to have a firework party and launch morter bombs over our house. This was on the 28th October! We live in a small village full of dogs, cats, cows, sheep, horses, and every year it's the same. A village full of scared animals. I despise firworks at home and would support any attempt to ban them 100%.
luckytrigger
Theres a good organised display within walking distance of the house. I'll be taking her in doors and the kids there.

Kids like the colours but hate the noise so wear their shooting ear muffs! I tend to have foam plugs in as well as my ears are shot from too much shooting as a kid with no protection. BSA Shaun
At home, but not mine. Be at Catroofel's house with the missus and little 'uns as his sister has spent ITRO £600 on fireworks (rich lady!) should go with a BANG
