No, not the football !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was last night's supper - Lancashire hotpot with cabbage. (leftover cabbage from pie night and last glass of Valpolicella from Lasagne night)

Then I noticed Ditchie's Norweigan dish of Lamb and Cabbage  which looks lovely by the way (although never had Logon/Lingon  berries with Lamb but have had Cranberry or Rowan jelly and even Blackberries  with Venison)

Votes on  a postcard folks as Hughie Green used to say !😁

I remember people going on holiday to Spain late 1970's and coming back saying they only served 'foreign food '😁

Don't drink the water    !!!🙄

Then it was full English 'all day breakfast'  pictured on glossy laminated menu's, Watney's Red Barrel and Sunday Roast Beef and Yorkshire with Bisto gravy .

I know an American couple who have toured the World for the last 45 years.
They will only ever eat at MacDonalds.

With football mainly on the agender at the moment, I would score the Lancs hotpot 1 and the Norway feast 0 . sorry Simon, but a K F C is about all I eat from outside the U K

Having tried both, cooked by folk who grew up preparing it, I would call a 0-0 draw.

It all depends on how my hunger pains are 😋 , we did once drive from Yarmouth to Cromer one night to get some fish and chips , mind you we ate them on the sea front as they would have been cold if we had taken them home , that was about a 70 mile return trip and was well worth the effort .:good:

There are some good chippies about , there used to be a good en at Southwold , the batter was nearly burnt and the fish melted in your mouth and then it changed hands and nowhere near as good , another at Aldeburgh at the end of the main street , and Frechie's at Well's harbour keep getting awards and I believe he was runner up as the best in the country , I have had it from there before and when I go that way again I will give it another try . :drinks:
