Agreed. Face value it seems pretty funny, but the context is actually pretty sad. Sheltered accommodation and limited function because of a stroke, no one living with him and it being days before anyone noticed he'd been missing. He accidentally stabs himself and with no one he can turn to for help, takes himself up to his bedroom to lie down and dies alone.

Just a really sad incident.

Have to agree ,reading the article he was trying to live an independant life after a stroke and things went tragically wrong for him.
