Does anyone have the above fitted in their home, and, if so, what's your opinion on them? I'm looking for a security camera (battery) to overlook my back garden etc.

Yes, I have 6 battery Rings covering the gardens and front door.

The only snag that I have found is changing the battery on the two, mounted just below the gutter, every other month. I used to just go up a ladder to do it, but now cannot.

One is within easy reach of the window, the other is changed when the window cleaner calls and does it for me.

The video quality is exceptional and we have spotted more wildlife than we expected in the garden at night.

We have a mains power camera in the kitchen, switched off during the day, which keeps an eye on our dog.

The Stasi have nothing on me 🤣

Thanks. I intend to fit one on the brickwork by the side of a tilt and turn window, which would allow easy access to change the battery etc.

I have a fully fitted burglar alarm fitted to my home with all entries/exits (including windows) protected. Motion detectors are in most rooms, and the one in my kitchen is programmed to allow my dog to be in there.

I fitted two of these about 3 years ago, one front one rear of house, both Wi-Fi, the solar panels keeps the batteries topped up even in winter, never need to change battery and it has night time colour and crystal clear images day and night….https://reolink.com/gb/product/argus-3-pro/

Thanks. :good:

I have one for the front door, battery only takes a minute to slip out and charge, you can buy a spare to replace it with, but i charge it up on a day i am working from home and can answer the door.
Good picture quality and you can have a conversation with anyone who is there from your mobile phone.
Very simple to fit and mount.

Ring battery door bell/camera and a mains powered Ring camera over the garage. I have also just fitted a couple of Reolink solar powered 4G cameras into our horse stables (monitoring the horses not intruders), seem pretty good and they also do a host of products that are wifi enabled.

Very pleased with my Reolink cameras. :good:

Build quality seems very good, image clarity and colour are excellent, the after sales back-up is also very good, any problems are answered very quickly.
