samboy
Hi gang. Just had my renewal in for £282. RAC are doing a deal for new customers £71 for the same cover. Seems a good deal.

Rac are the same,I have to ring every time, usually get it down to £85 and 14 months instead of 12 for relay any vehicle. TIGHTCHOKE
Check the comparison website first, establish what you can get through them, THEN go back to the AA and put a good case. I have been with AA, RAC and most others, I will NOT pay over the odds.

Loki
Hi Please be aware 'Recovery' is not the same in the fine print or when questioned in detail - I have gone to RAC after my neighbour forensically interrogated both sides after his daughter broke down in Londinium at night and no towback to the Homestead in Oxon Ford. Fil
I use a company called Start Rescue. They are basically a breakdown insurance company. If you do break down they will call the local "wreckers" nearest you and they take you home or arrange to take you home. Works for me and cheap. Luckily only used once ("touches wood") I was in the AA for umpteen years and the price kept going up and up and up. As a bonus they gave me "Home start" but I couldn't care less if the truck is broke down on the drive. So I shopped around. If you have the time shop around around every year.
