deeksofdoom
Anyone ever come accross this issue with their dog run.... before you say it the run is hosed daily with water and washed out. Was reading up on the internet and there are bits of information about the dog having a urinary tract infection which could be causing release of additional ammonia/urea ..... and yes I will bring the dog to the vet to get her checked out. Anyone ever had a similar issue?
Bigbob
Try a tin of chopped up tomatoes in there food i use it to reduce the acid in there urine and it then doesn't leave brown patches on grass
bruno22rf
You can buy UTI testing strips for about £10 - might save you a few quid visiting the vet? Does the Dog drink plenty of water? Edited October 9 by bruno22rf

12gauge82 Posted Thursday at 20:22 Report Share Posted Thursday at 20:22 Be careful with tomatoes, definitely no green ones, no plants, also some tinned tomatoes and sauces can have additives that can be bad. Personally I don't do it.
Lloyd90 Posted Friday at 07:36 Report Share Posted Friday at 07:36 What’s the run flooring / base made from? Is it concrete? Did you seal it?
