Hi gang.

When i take my dog over the field in the mornings there are more and more molehills .

Is there a time of year when they are more prolific ?.

                                                                                        Thanks all.

If you think shotgun choke can be complicated, you ain't seen anything yet. Calculating the number of moles in any one given area is even more complex:

It involves calculations based on several measurements using rods, hands and furlongs, the angle of the sun when the measurements were taken and several other inputs only known to a select few Norfolk residents.

On the other hand you could save yourself a load on anguish as you will eventually discover that more often the not the answer is usually, one.

was there a King of England killed as a result of his hack footing a molehill ?

Killed indeed by "the gentleman in black velvet". William III it was. He of the "Good King Billy" name to some. And the reason, horses at risk of breaking legs, that moles rightly used to be relentlessly harried in paddocks where horses (or livestock) were kept and why gophers and the like, ditto, in the USA.
