You need to go onto YouTube and play the footage from the Saturdays Reform conference from Chester where one of the rape gang victims came on stage and gave a harrowing account of the abuse and rape she suffered from a Pakistani gang. Certainly a brave young lady and failed by the system who we're supposed to be supporting her. Andy Burnham wants an inquiry as a lot of what took place was also in Manchester and he wants the facts in the open and not just another cover up. I'm not sure he has plans for the Starmer job. For Reform to fund a full public inquiry will cost, but we all know where the funds will come from. They estimate it could be completed in 5 month's to name the failed police chiefs and social workers involved in the cover up and failing to do a job they we're / are paid for. Flashman Posted Monday at 12:53 Report Share Posted Monday at 12:53 Labour, just like Reform and Tories, survey the electorate and know what they have to say to keep us onside. This should be an easy win the Labour. Blame for Tories for not doing this on their watch, say the last report was flawed and get on with it. Yet Labour are wiling to get continuing bad Press, have the richest man in the world make personal insults about the PM & cabinet. My question is, “Why?” What frightens Labour so much that all this adverse publicity - which is all Labour really care about - is better than what an enquiry will find? I simply don’t understand Labour’s thought process here.
TIGHTCHOKE Posted Monday at 12:55 Report Share Posted Monday at 12:55 Far too many of their Members or constituents are involved.

Yes, to EVERYONE but the man himself. His track record is extremely poor.

And Maggie Oliver who has done more for the victims than anyone else in the country was has been silenced by the political establishment to a degree. Yet she is still helping victim's on a daily basis. Starmer knows his head is on the block.
B&W FOX Posted Monday at 13:13 Report Share Posted Monday at 13:13 As I said before watch the Nortwest Reform conference on YouTube from 38 minutes onwards where it will give you first the background of the rape victim's and then the victim's account. It is truly awful how in a democratic country this could have gone on unchallenged. And then covered up.

Gordon R Posted Monday at 13:47 Report Share Posted Monday at 13:47 Labour might be better facing up to it now and try to move on. The next election is some years away and they might hope to have recovered. If they continue to stone wall, it might drag onto the next election and then there will be no-one else to blame. Labour are animal-cunning: they know this and yet something’s stopping them making a positive decision. They are either banking that the news cycle will move away to something else - today’s trivial about AI and will Rachel from Accounts be there next month - or that people will stop worrying about rape gangs. Gordon R Posted Monday at 14:35 Report Share Posted Monday at 14:35 I don't think rape gangs will go away as easily as the Post Office scandal did, but eventually came back to haunt them.
B&W FOX Posted Monday at 15:04 Report Share Posted Monday at 15:04 Labour now has 20 day's left to call this enquiry, or Reform UK will finance an inquiry into the cover up and the part Starmer played in it. They are under pressure from ALL sides of the bench
