Hi all,  

Got a tx200hc recently. Would like to know if it would humanely kill rabbits rats, crows? Would like some input before I go in the field

With a 1.77 there wouldn't be much left of anything 💥

But in .177 yes, perfectly OK 👍

Assuming you put the shot in the correct place, within acceptable ranges and with accuracy then yes a sub12 air rifle will humanely kill all of the quarry mentioned.

The only thing that I would say is make sure you are keeping to the rules of the general licence where the crows are concerned

while i wouldn’t personally use a springer perfectly capable so long as you are accurate enough to hit the right mark

Get the rifle tested for power, should be over 10ft lbs, then zero the scope for 30 yards,and practice until you can get every shot to hit 20mm centre.Only then should you consider going hunting with it.

The rifle is capable but are you if your asking ? get out and practice , practice and practice some more them when you think your capable try it

Hello, I used a 177 Brocock PCP for years to clear the Rabbits on a Small Sheep Farm, Day and Night , Maximum 30 Yards

It has been tested and is shooting at 11.8ft lbs. Yeah I will practicing at my local range before I go out shooting at vermin

The Air Arms TX200 Hunter carbine is perfectly capable of killing all the above with the correct pellet placement, very little recoil, if that's correct word and super accurate, its a springer that's pretty close to a PCP, look at a few videos to see how good they are.
