Went down the marsh tonight and it was a lot colder than I expected so getting back home I needed something to warm me back up , Chicken , Ham hock , Baby parsnips , Carrots , The last of the Leeks , Caulie and some more Carrot mash , done some gravy if I need it , all in all it was very nice and would have it again .

Good 👍 winter warmer there...looks the job

I could feel myself thawing out after eating the contents off each fork full , when I was a bit younger the weather tonight would had been pretty mild , now my head is ruling my body , my head say it isn't that cold but my body know that is telling a lie :drinks:

Only kidding 😁 looks great, and it's nice to see you're enjoying your grub 👍

Cheers JKD ... Yes I enjoyed it tonight , another night I could do the same meal and would eat half and leave the rest , I hadn't ate nothing since I had a spot of dinner and time I got home tonight it was nearly six o clock, so I had a cup of tea and fed the dog and then it was time to put my tea on , so time it was done around 7.15 I was then ready for it .:drinks:

Yea , I cheated a bit as you would have made it all from scratch where mine was in a carton , I done everything else and now getting the steamed veg just how I like them , around the 12/15 minutes mark seem about right .   MM :drinks:

Looks very nice.  Plenty of varied veggies - just what I like and apparently has the bonus of being 'healthy'.

Vegetable's are still a good buy for the amount of work involve to produce them , I renew mine about every two weeks , I have my own spuds and I get all the rest for about a fiver , not bad for how many meals you can get out of them .  MM :good:

MM, that looks mighty good after a cold day.  :good:

Morning Dave .. Yes the wind and cold cut through me now and I am now looking forward to the milder days , now when I take my dog out like this morning when it was blowing hard and with showery rain I am not sorry we are not shooting ,whereas not long ago I would have gone shooting everyday , all part of the ageing process I recon :drinks:
