Very nearly a conventual meal tonight  , well nearly 😛, the Haddock was very nice but didn't go much on the batter , the chips were better than last night , the small veg added a bit of colour to it and the Pea and mint dip came with the fish , added a spoonful of Tartar sauce for a bit of flavor .

T b h it would be far easier if I popped down to the fish and chip shop on the odd night rather than do my own , although we have got some reasonable ones I haven't come across one as good as the one I go to up the coast so I leave it until I go up that way and I know I am going to enjoy it and also I haven't got to do anything when I get home .

Even though I try and do something different most nights it can become a job knowing what to do for a change , if I get pre cooked meals then I nearly always have half left over , you might then say well put it in the freezer , I would if you freeze it but on some it state not suitable to freeze so I then have it a few nights later so it don't get wasted , even what I had tonight was from the dine in range for two people , I didn't mind because you can freeze what was left so another night I will have the other half with some boiled veg and give the chips a miss , one reason some of my meals are a mis match , but as long as it is edible then who cares , I don't
