BSA Shaun
As i see it you are going to pay around £6 per week to rent. That equates to £312 per year. For that you could buy a: MATSUI MAT26LW50 26" HD Ready LCD £269.99 LG 22LS4D 22" HD Ready digital LCD TV £289.99 etc

Dr W
Try Richer Sounds and join their VIP club they were offering a flat screen tv about that size or maybe slightly bigger, I can't remember now for about £220. Can't argue with that.
Cranfield
With today's prices and low interest offers, minimum 1 year guarantee (don't buy from Comey) and the all round reliability of equipment, it would be cheaper to buy a TV than rent. LEFTY478
Got to agree with all the 'don't rent comments', as said, it's dead money. Find a TV you like, then google the model number. You'll get reviews and links to price checking sites.
pin
If you buy, get it from John Lewis as a price match as they give an excellent 5 year warranty. Check avforums.com for latest price match info, current best deals etc.

MC
Well heres a vote for renting, we rent ours from Hughes, along with a hard disc DVD recorder for about £18 a month. No hassle if anything goes wrong or we just fancy a change. If something new comes along that takes your fancy then ring them up and tell them you want to change, a few days later a man with a van turns up and installs it for you. Try doing that with John Lewis, 9 months after you have bought one. How is renting one dead money? They hardly have a resale value do they?
