Went out for a couple of hours this arvo. Got a total of 10. I took some piccies of some of the bunnies. All frozen apart from the one with the open wound. He was a bit messy inside.

I got them all from one Warren that i concentrated on, there is a shot the particular lane included. will be back there tomorrow :good:

Head for food, body for vermin destruction. :good: HMR will kill either way. I personally go for the head in all options, and all quarry.. but going for the body increases your chance of a kill (theoretically);)

I seriously like you Landy there. I think il be buying a propper 4x4 instead of the Suzuki SJ I have. Il start looking properly come summer as I only have a budget of about 500-600 squids at the moment

good do . lee :good: .

as your confidence grows with the rifle the shot placement becomes boringly easy mate.

I am going to try some hollow points tomorrow that I have left over,

these are the only 17 hmr rounds i have heard bounce. be carefull.

Sparkie, other stuff as in Other Ammo?

nosey parker sparkie lol

tried all the others, i wish i had a £ for every time i was told all HMR ammo is the same. From people who should know better (RFDs)

Its up to you shaggy but to be honest i would save your money and stick to the feds. if you can buy a brick or 2 at a time

and check for the same batch number, last lot i got were £9 a box i ended up having 1000 off the RFD.

Gald you are enjoying the HMR, I love mine also.

I played around a bit with the 20gr CCI hollow points vs the 17gr rem V-max,

I know that I will stay with the 17gr V-max for the bunnies as I found it more accurate and did not get so many shoot throughs, will be ineterest to see how you get on.

Of course each rifle is different and yours might like feeding differently to mine.
