Jonnyni
Have a look at this, Im sure some of you have seen birds like this before but its a rare occurence. A 100% white Jackdaw shot yesterday by my mates, even the very legs are white. Bad photo's from my phone.
Teal
Get it stuffed mate. Are the eyes pink? Apparently in Essex I've heard there is a run of white rooks. He did well to last as long as he did. I've heard albino corvids are often deaf. As is often with "freaks" in the wild they are very delicate, chances are if it hadn't been shot it would have caught avian TB and died early or for sure died of pnemonia in the winter. Jonnyni
My mates are selling it to someone who wants to get it stuffed (it will pay for some cartridges). The eyes arn't not pink they are black. My mate took bettre quality pics with his phone but hasn't activated the email settings on his phone yet, when he does I will replace the photo's I took with his. Fisherman Mike
but its a rare occurence. Not suprised if you go round shooting em... An old Game keeper friend (now long dead) said the curse of the devil would decend on anybody who shot a white corvid... Beware

remytherussell
I echo FM,s sentiments. To kill any hybrid / albino white bird is always deemed as unlucky. We have had a couple of white pheasants over the years and the keeper would always declare at the start of the day, "Dont shoot the ******g white one". Also it is written "a white bird foretells death". Another quote by the way, "a bird that flys into a house foretells an important message" Crows. Ones bad luck Twos good luck Threes health Fours wealth Fives sickness Six is death. RTR

Jonnyni
Talcum powder isn't even that white BA it was shot in Donegal on Wednesday Norman's phone has a far better quality photo of it and when he sorts out how to send the pic as an email I will post the pictures again to show the detail. It really is amazing I know I could hardly believe it myself but then I saw it with me own eyes.
