Peter De La Mare
****** FAC holder going mental with his arsenal is not what we need. Hopefully he doesn't hurt anyone other than himself. Peter De La Mare
Check out Sky News. Kings road been closed since 5pm when a domestic got out of hand and the bloke started shooting the place up, and blasting the neighbours house with a shotgun. The female part of the domestic told police that all 4 of his guns are licenced. Apparently a couple of shotguns and rifles.

bob300w
Looks as though it's over; Stun Grenades Used In Armed Stand-Off Updated:21:47, Tuesday May 06, 2008 Stun grenades have been used after a gunman opened fire on police for a second time during a stand-off in London. Police cordoned off areaSky News Home Affairs correspondent Mark White said half a dozen explosions were heard. Paramedics were then seen moving towards a block of flats in the Markham Square area, off King's Road in Chelsea. "This situation could be coming to a dramatic end," he said. "An ambulance and armed officers are now in attendance."

bob300w
So he's dead then. Sure is; http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7387002.stm That should improve the gene pool. Lat's hope that the fall-out is not too heavy on the rest of us.
al4x
I saw it and as soon as it said he had a shotgun odds are it was legal, domestics do happen but not all shoot at police thats more like suicide. There wasn't much fall out after the last one who shot the police officer dead. So fingers crossed this time
Cranfield
I doubt there will be any "Anti fallout". Gun crime is becoming so common across the range of weapons that it hardly gets reported in the national newspapers, only sometimes if the victim/shooter is particularly young/old/, or it takes place in an usual place (like Kings Road, Chelsea). I also believe that International Terrorism has made people wake up to the fact that it is not inanimate objects that kill people, its other people. Ice
As said, i dont think gun's / weapons are dangerous, its the idiot who is in control of them who is dangerous, just thankful that nobody was hurt appart from the plank who got what was coming to him!!! :good: BIG THUMBS UP TO ARMED RESPONSE!!!!!
Mungler
Blimey. The barristers chambers have pulled his profile but it's still available as a cached page from Google. Apparently he did family law and was a specialist in domestic violence cases. A "falling down" day for a man on an easy six figure income. Not too sure about the news coverage though - lots of face photos of the armed response officers and that's not on. Good job no one else involved or injured. Bazooka Joe
You see, even posh areas have their domestics. Must be a cracking place to live...........!!!! Women on Sky News knew he had paid cash for his house two years ago, cause it was her business, but wouldn't know him if he walked passed her in the street.........lived only two or three doors away . bob300w
Nice one Mung, Specialisation: Family law, predominantly matrimonial finance. Mark is recommended as a leading junior in this and the last two editions of Chambers. His first entry was in the 2005 'up and coming' list when he was only 5 years call and received 'a volley of praise', I particularly liked the 'volley of praise' comment, simlilar to his final one no doubt? Just less terminal.
