apbuild
Le Chameau Chasseur leather lined boots. I've found some for sale, new, at £157.95 including VAT and delivery. Is that a good price? A couple of other places are selling them for about £200.00. Rob.
Cranfield
It sounds like a good price and I am sure they are excellent boots, BUT, I just can't get my head round paying £150+ for a pair of wellies.
red_stag88
I know a bloke who can get "special" wellies for £50 - worth ever penny at that price

squintshot
Trying to get the wife convinced that I need a pair of Le Chameau Mouflon Plus she's coming round to my way of thinking. Cranfield I've always felt you should never scrimp on footwear, part of my arguement to the wife!!!! Squint

lurcherboy
Buy them AP, its a bloody good price. Sadly, I could only afford the neoprene, wife has the money at the moment. They are so good to walk in and your feet wont get ****** like when wearing cheap 'gumboots' Spent 7 hours in mine Saturday, no problem and feet were snug. Devilishdave
I wear Muck Tay boots regularly walk over 8 miles a day in them never had cold or overly hot feet in them and never had blisters. at £60 you cant go wrong They dont do the tay any more, these are the closest alternatives http://www.muckbootcompany.com/product_inf...?products_id=47 Dave
apbuild
LB, I have a pair of Le Chameau Vega's. They are good but I had a large thorn go through the top of the boot the other day whilst beating! I tried welding the hole with a red hot knife, but alas, they still leak. The chasseurs look great. Just ordered a pair. I'll let you know how I get on with them! Rob.

plexer
I have a pair of chasseur's cost me the princely sum of £50 and I got a learndirect course thrown in as well. Ok well actually paid the £50 for the learndirect IT course and the boots were the incentive. This was with BASC last year but then had all sorts of problems such as the LD company that were offering it wen't bust then it was taken over by another. But I got there in the end and got my boots Cheers, Ben
Deako
Rob, Having had a look around the site, I couldn't find any address or telephone number?...also, states that the price includes VAT, but no indication of the companies VAT reg number? The photo appears to show the chameau boots of 3 years ago (old label). anyway, hope they are what you ordered, and before I get hassle, we don't sell chameau boots!!! Deako (edited to say found the address and phone number...so...these remain the best price I've found for these boots!)
kdubya
I have a pair of these, paid £145 and as far as I am concerned its the best money I have ever spent, I have them on all day when shooting cracking fit, dead comfortable and of course "waterproof" unlike my £200 quid 100% waterproof meidle (spelling) gore tex and leather boots that are'nt? cheers Keith

Guest Mr Pieman
Apbuild (and everyone else!), to mend your wellies that leak get some Gulsure or Aquasure. It is liguid neoprene originally designed for repairing wetsuits. It is easy to apply and works brilliantly. I've mended all manner of things with it from wellies to my Suzuki softop!! A tube costs around a fiver and is enough to stick a wetsuit sleeve back on!! PP
remytherussell
A good price, seen them at £135 but only in odd sizes. Best rubber boots available. I prefer my Mouflons though. Fortunately I have both. RTR
Guest Mr Pieman
I know that's a lie RTR - they don't make them in dog sizes!!!!!! PP

squintshot
Jonnyni, my wife doesn't need that excuse she already has more shoes than there are days in the month. She said that none of them cost nearly £200 but when I pointed out that if she added up the cost of her shoes then mine there would be more than £200 pounds of a difference. Bring on the boots and the wellies!!! Squint
apbuild
My Chasseurs arrived today. I have to say they are the business. I've never had a welly boot so warm, supple and easy to get on and off!! Highly reccomended, what with the cold weather just around the corner. Rob.
