it says on the vid "it does cost, £50grand" "You can buy a BMW M5 for that money" "or you could turn up at the mob in your M5 or your Ferrari for that matter, or you can buy a Bowler WildCat and the next day, on the start line of the parradaka."

a quote said by the Presenter of Top Gear during that video.

Also someone in the trade told me to avoid jap imports like the plague as they generally have failed the Japanese emmissions control tests which are a little more stringent than in this country, thats why there are so many available...

any truth in this?:)?

FM.

Had mine nearly 5 years now and it passes the emission test first time without any adjustments.

The Japanese MOT is much stricter than ours all round and their cars have to be virtually better than when they leave the factory to pass it. Also it costs a lot more with the general idea to get people to buy new cars.

i had never heard of the place, so i randomely spelt it guys, atleast it sounds the same :) :)

if you buy a Mitsubushi 4x4 in this country it may cost you about £15k, you buy a Japanese Mitsubushi 4x4 the exact same which has come from Japan and it will cost you £5k, this is because that as the law in Japan states a car cannot be more than 10years old, they send them all over here at 10years old, and they are like new  my friends x-Japanese one cost him £5100 and its 8years old.

But looks like new, new interior in it etc as the company put it all in for us Britains to buy them, look like new, but actually second hand  cheap deal, good car.

I owned an '88 Mitsubishi mighty max pickup truck for 13 years. It died after I replaced the tranny with a used one and I sold it off of the road :) for $100. It had 354,000 miles on it when it died. The fella who bought it replaced the tranny and it is still running today. Of course it puts out a smoke sscreen that would make the Batman proud. Amazing lil truck. I don't know if I'd buy one of the newer ones but I heard that Mits is coming out with a pickup truck again next year.

I currently drive a Toyota Tacoma pickup. I like the jap trucks, they seem to run forever. My dream truck is the Ford F250 4X4 4 door...one day :)
