Fisherman Mike Posted December 21, 2004 Report Share Posted December 21, 2004 I am a member of both also the BTO which is actively working with landowners and farmers ( Who Shoot ) to safeguard species such as Grey partridge, Lapwing, Corncrake, Turtle Dove etc. etc. etc. the decline of none of which is due to shooting, quite the opposite in fact. By the tone of his posts I deduced that Vimm was in fact a phsycopath and certainly not a sportsman. I think Pieman sounded him out correctly. FM. Jonnyni Posted December 21, 2004 Report Share Posted December 21, 2004 I thought it was that one Dazza but I tried to register yesterday but still havn't got the confirmation email but that happens with some forums which is something to do with my cookies or scripts on this office PC which i cannot change. I can login but can't get on the forum because the validation email cannot be sent to my works email. I think the email client is picking it up as spam or junk mail and deleting it. Indeed, one of the replys to a pic of two dead foxes being changed for a couple of magpies was I think: 'ah you changed the picture.... not such a good picture anymore' Now a slightly different opinion is taken :o My quibble with Vimm, was his attitude to others on the board, and the poaching thread. Have a think about it Dave i am not squeemish atall :o but many people on here maybe and the picture looked like something out of somewhat of a horror film.. he just shot it in the back on purpose as it was running and the bullet just ripped its back open, not very nice atall if anyone remembers the picture.
