I used to shoot rats with a shotgun on a farm, they loved living in bails of hay. You could guarantee even with a room full of bails of hay most of them [the rats] would be sitting very tight right under the last two or three bails, they are very tricky targets. farmers son Posted February 2, 2005 Report Share Posted February 2, 2005 hi first post on ere, a day out ratting is probably the most fun you can have!!..just my opinion neway....wen we used to have chickens on our farm and go out with the terriers we used to get between 100 and 120 a day!! n lamp em at night wi the air rifle!! but dont they just get everywere!? totally horrible little sh*ts!!
