My preference would be Fyfield but hey I am easy and a I'll take a dare (insert girly giggle here). Someone just make a decision dammit. Indeed, to add some confusion I reckon the Dartford SG would be the best one to do - it has the lot incl. a 100 birder sporting set up and it's never busy. Braintree will be rammed and that's no fun. And the bacon rolls ain't really up to much If that round trip is to Braintree then it's the same for all of us. Fyfield, while i enjoyed the place is much further for me on easier for everyone else. Dartford, forget it! I understand the Braintree cries of woes but for this meet it gets my vote. I've got lots of other shoots i want to do this month and gotta stick to the 50 clays to stay in budget. ZB Yes I was ZB, But to be honest the near 200 mile round trip just to prove that you need to have luck on your side to consistently shoot rabbits at over 300 yards needed some thinking about. Wookies offer of a bacon sandwich nearly swayed it until I google mapped his postcode and realised he is very nearly a NORTHERNER! If it is any help, I put 4 out of 5 shots on a till receipt the other night standing while using sticks @ 150 yards. So mine is good for that distance. If I had a section of my permission that is 300 yards long and flat enough to do the same I would do it down here. I will do a test at the furthest distance I can soon. Obviously they are quite experienced in the use of black escorts, and indeed fair play different strokes for different folks and all that. And I bought the teas and Bacon rolls so you are all indebted to me anyway.
