new to the flock
Dont want the Terrier man left out so how about some tasteful pics of your favourite terrier working. Wish I had taken pictures of my jack russel, Skippy, and my Lakeland, Butch...(toughest little dog I ever met), when they were alive. ollie
yes lads come on with the pics..ollie sure would like to see the terriers from ireland mate alot of good dogs over there ive heard There is only one of the dogs which is a pure breed, the rest are mongrels. The old bitch is the best working terrier I have ever saw, she bolts foxes very quick out of holes. The dog is quite good and gives the old bitch a lot of help. The other three are off spring from the 2 older dogs and one of them is showing real promise. I'll make sure to get photo's of them either working or just playing. Lurch
Eee I just don't know. I've always felt there was something unsporting about digging out.
Vermin Dropper
I'm with you Lurch. I've never liked Digging out, each to their own,
Grimescar-keeper
As its own sport or for control I have noting against digging out, However I think that when hunting, if the fox gets to earth, its won, so leave it. Chris
Country_est
The poor little dog is a hero. Here he is helping the poor fox who got trapped underdground. Pulling him out so that helpfull mister digga can give him all the treatment he deserves. If you look at the pics of the foxes shot out in the pig farm, and also read some posts where a rifle is unsuitable for and find out that using snares poison or other methods cant really be done safley I have no problem with it. On our land farmer says NO rifles so we have to have fox drives to the shot guns. Trev Edited March 18, 2005 by Country_est
