Fatcatsplat
Am off to Scotland again in May to see if i can watch salmon going past my rod and waving, as is traditional. My problem is that years of good living have taken their toll on both waistline and chest, to the point that my bum looks big in everything - I had a real struggle getting into the chest waders last year and think it might be just a teensie weensie bit harder this year. So my question is, does anyone know whether there are chest waders made for the filler figured man that don't cost a fortune and if so, any recommendations? Would like to keep the price under a ton if possible. Chest size is 52 and the waist ain't massively behind! Cheers, Veryveryfatcatsplat

Fatcatsplat
Had a look at the site - Great recommendation!! I like the way they have a fuller body range which they indicate by the letters (FB) - You reckon it really stands for Full Body??? Hey! I heard that! I've had good luck with Cabela's, which I know is stateside but I'm sure they ship your way. I'm a 56 coat (I'm 1.9m tall and 153kg). I have a neoprene pair that fit well but to see me get in them is quite the sight I can assure you. Edited April 26, 2009 by stuartp
Dunkield
Obviously not aimed at all American's - just some B) Fatcat, if you want to save a few bob and get some good quality waders with a decent guarantee, look out for the Orvis sales coming up. Being as you are not average size you may get a bargain. Other than that look at the Greys combo John Norris is doing. Let us know how you get on

utectok
Probably gonna need an American pair! Pricey but simms is the way to go all kinds of sizes!
ChrisNicholls
Orvis do a great range of sizes and often have sales with waders often very reduced in price - definitely worth a look, mine have been great. Orvis also have a legendary exchange policy - no questions asked exchange if there is a problem.
Fatcatsplat
The answer was Decathlon - Excellent shop (They have one at Lakeside). Think they are French based, but they have huge warehouse type places catering to over 70 different sports (That's what the billboard said anyway). One of the sports was fishing and they did stock waders in comedy sizes. Will stick a photo up later as they are very flattering and make me look lovely. Doc Holliday
I'd have thought a man of your calibre would be going for a pair of tweed waders, but then I remebered you said you wanted to keep it under a ton. I'm assuming you were talking about the price tag?
