Doc Holliday
Ganja is the slang term. I prefer to call them what they really are - Ginger. And how is Chard finding life in your greenhouse? I've had a dirty little habbit forthe last 8 years now. There, that feels much better now I've opened my closet. We're growing: Rhubarb Raspberries Blackberries Gooseberries Plum tree Cherry tree Peache tree Artichokes Garlic Onions Shallots Carrots Parsnips Beetroot Spinach Soon to be planted: Salsify Cabbages (3 varieties) Brussels Curly Kale (Purple) Swede Plum tomatoes Courgettes Butternut Squash Leeks I think that's about it. Oh, and chillies in the potting shed.

Oh, and chillies in the potting shed. A wee bit frustrated as he should be outside now ! but all my bed alterations are a bit delayed - chaos reignes in the main garden. I need a good weekend back in the garden to get the main planting areas sorted then little chard will be happy.
jammie*dodger
Just built my raised veg bed last year so not a lot going on. Planted up 2/3 rds of it with Potatoes - might as well plant what i'll eat. The other 2 thirds have Onions, Sprouting white broccoli and Broad beans. Doc Holliday
Lee, you don't have to have masses of land or even a garden. You can try growing carrots in a pot or spuds in a bag. Plenty of opportunity to grow stuff where space is a bit tight. Even herbs or salad leaves in a window box.

Better still, get the Mrs to have a garden and just eat the produce.
Doc Holliday
I think we should be a tad careful here... We could be accussed of trying to turn it into the river cottage forum and then we'll possibly be accussed of being townies as well.

LOL Would that be the Meat and 2 veg you were on about showing me if i came and looked in your greenhouse? On another note the closest thing i have to a veg patch or greenhouse is the local farmers market. Anybody know what you could grow in a window type garden?
