malkiserow
OK, Wedgenock ground has gone from a machine selling coffee at 40 pence to the new Sunday regime of "machine out of order" so buy from kitchen at £1 a cup but on Tuesday nights (not many shooters) the machine magically gets fixed and now charges 60 pence. Each Sunday the machine has a sign on saying "Not Working" A rip off or what?! This seemingly simple point has angered many shooters at Wedgenock. What is your ground and how much for a cup of coffee?

throdgrain
At Gatwick they charge you 50p for a cup of coffee, but you have to make it yourself  However, they also charge 50p for a can of coke, which is fairly reasonable I think. starlight32
One haybale I go to its 30p a coffee and a pound for sausage or bacon roll. You pay for what you get is the old saying........ The old coffee debate is a difficult one..Do you pay a higher figure at a place where at least it is a decent cup that is worth drinking, or do pay peanuts and drink ground black powder? I'm a ground black powder man Starbucks and Costa Bomba have taken flogging ground black powder to new heights. Yes Sir, a tall Mocha Skinny Floppa Frappe Latte Cappuchino Espresso, that'll be £245,000. Would you like a gold plated biscuit to go with that, or do you just want to drop your keks and bend over now? Worsley's OK, coffee in a ghastly plastic cup (small) is a bit stiff at 80p a go. Food isn't bad, various butties, burgers and breakfasts, and a choice of sweets, cakes, soft drinks etc at quite sensible prices

covlocks
If thats all you have to complain about at Wedgenock then you are lucky. I would first look at why the place is so under-utilised, and the miserable staff who are supposed to run the place. Got to be the only place I know where an under worked Chief Instructor does his best to stay that way - under-worked. He told me when I went to have a look at the place that they were mainly interested in the weekday corporate days, he managed to mumble that at me before he turned his back mid conversation and walked away. Many more places to shoot at and get your tea and coffee served with a smile.

It was not my only point but it is the only one I raised as many of the people who go there are moaning about it (car park chat), it is kind of the last straw for some!
