Ferret Master
Hello Bisley Meeters, Bare with my spelling and general grammatical inaccuracies here as I'm on an itouch sitting on a flight of steps in the baking heat in SW France just to get a wifi signal and the screens to small. Right, so... Assuming everyone is still coming. Who's turning up when and who is bringing what? I'll be there late afternoon on the Friday and will be attempting to cook a rabbit stir fry (need to go lamping Thurs. Night) anyone else gonna be there then? Also has everyone who is staying in big top Von lefty actually let lefty know? Camping can be paid for at the range office. Guess that about covers it, see you all at the meet. OH and the weather forecast is looking ALOT better! Cheers, Ollie

Mungler
I believe that I will be bringing Bazzer and Bagsy on Saturday morning. I will bring burgers, rolls, beer. A .308 a .223 and a pump action shotty. I would like to doss in Lefty towers. I anticipate having a hangover Sunday morning, so the condition of my giving a lift to Bazzer and Bagsy is that they have to do my share of tidying up on the Sunday morning and will assist Lefty in the dismantling of Lefty towers
JonD
I'll be there Sat am with the shotty Doesn't look like i'll be able to stay but will be back on the Sun am for the skeet +1 or 2. Looking forward to it Jon.

See you all there (+ 15 cans of strongbow) Worryingly similar to what I've got. Except I bought 24 cans of the stuff on the ferry a few hours ago. ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE CHAPS. Despite the fact that Martin unfortunately cannot be with us this year, he has left us the money that people chose not to have returned to them after the rifle problems last year for us to do what we like with... Either we use it to fully/partially cover the cost of camping. OR we pop down to Tesco's near Bisley on Friday afternoon/evening with a shopping list for a bit of food and booze? garyb
I need to pick up some clay carts... Can someone confirm.... Is it plastic of Fibre wads on the clays? Having never shot Clays at Bisley - But having seen the skeet layout, I would assume from the vast ammount of plastic on the floor that both are allowed? Yet FM's post states.. Fibre
Ferret Master
Fibre for sporting. Although I do believe you can use either on the skeet layout. FM

garyb
I just found myself browsing the "HOG" bikers website www.sofer.uk.com Judging by the photo's the Essex boys should feel right at home - as it appears to be what can only be described as a "sausage fest"
Fatcatsplat
My first (but probably not last) daft question of the day - When we rock up at Bisley, is the booking in the name of PW or do we just head for the green bit that's not full of big fat blokes with beards and tattoos called Nigel? PW members look exactly as you have described except none of them are called Nigel Actually you just declare yourself to the bloke on the gate that you are a shooter and not a biker and they leave you to it. Do you know where the campsite is?
Dunkield
You are up the end where it says 'Melville Range and Sporting Rifle Complex' Print this, and turn it through 90 degress and it will makes sense when you get there. Well until the drinking starts anyways...
