Dunkield
I wear them for any shooting if it is cold enough, if you buy the right ones they don't interfere with your shooting. Of course real men, smash the ice on a cattle trough and stick their hands in there for 5 minutes at the start of the day, by all accounts that will keep them warm all day long.. MC
True enough Dan, But at least they can have fingers in their gloves, unlike you webbed handed suffolkonians that need mittens.

Gordon R
I wear Le Chameau gloves when it's cold. I have three finger dislocations and a fair number of broken bones in my hands, from my younger days. They get a bit sore when they get cold. MJN
I wear a golf glove when the release lever on the foreend starts burning my palm, doesn't seem to happen that often in the UK, but in Singapore it did after around 50 shots if you didn't have a good break 1/2 way through. But I will sure have it with me Saturday week, on a Simulated game shoot , expecting 5 drives of 100 birds (plus those I can poach off neghbours ). I have a choice of white kanagroo skin or black cabrera (sp) leather. which goes better with country casual ? M.
Nicky T
Always wondered what all the fuss was about so thought I'd try shooting without gloves today - bad choice! The gloves are definitely staying on from now on

fuzrat
Mac-wets for me :yp: thin ones in the summer to stop my sweaty palms turning the pistol grip into a greased eel, and climatec in the winter cos every finger on both hands has been broken at least once from cricket and ive got poor circulation. God, admitting to gloves and cricket in the same post got to go, have to order my "powered by fairy-dust" stickers in pink for my barrels   Fuzrat

Glensman
North Aontroim in mid-winter- thick gloves are a Must. I notice no difference in my shooting with or without the rest of the time... I'll only wear them when it's cold.
