  3. Thanks for the replies I had thought about drilling a hole and getting the powder out also soaking the primer in light oil yes stuck with hot glue gun

I recently made this display board for a shooting friend from paper cartridges I had the frame was a shadow box frame from hobby craft which I adapted green felt was from there as well i was going to make a couple more one for a non shooting friend what would I have to do to make the cartridges inert if they have to be at all

  6. McAvoy guns list some Winchester powders on there website though I would think these are more modern and a different powder was used back then
  7. I was hoping that some of you learned guys might be able to help me does anyone know what powder was used in the Winchester cartridges trap 200 trap 100 blue lights silvers some of my favourite cartridges from the past I would love to try and recreate them if at all possible thanks in advance

I’ve pretty much called round all the gun shops near me looking for powder for 3” 410 18-19 gram lead load I had been using ram shot enforcer but have also been asking for vectan sp3 does anyone have any leads on where I can get some or alternative powders thanks in advance edited to say lead load
