Benj1 Posted January 30, 2017 Report Share Posted January 30, 2017 Hello everybody, My name is Ben. I'm born and bred in Stevenage, although I try to escape as often as funds will allow! I'm an outdoor person, and will get out and about as often as I can. I've held my SGC for years, but for one reason or another never really pursued any serious commitment to shooting going just once or twice a year! That is until the last year or so, I've found a real love for it, and I try and get out at least every 2 weeks. I'm not up to much, but practice makes perfect as they say! I go to both A1 and AGL with my pal, as they seem to be the most local. I stumbled on this site by pure chance, and it looks to be a really good way of connecting with likeminded people. I would love to get involved as much as possible with the local shooting scene, whatever that may involve, meet some like minded people. I don't mind getting stuck in. Terry, I'm fairly sure we've had a chat in the past, assuming you are who I think you are! As it happens, I'm contemplating getting a few lessons fairly soonish, I was going to probably give the guys at AGL a go, however I could be swayed! Question is- who's the better coach? Me and my girlfriend had a lesson with Wayne just before our little one came along about 3 years ago. He was very good, I liked his style, straight to the point! If I took one thing away from that lesson it was- "take your eyes of that ******* bead!" Truth is I'm open to anyone giving me a lesson if I feel I can learn something useful and put it into practice. Is the A1 back up and running now? What would you charge for a one on one lesson?
