  1. He charged me 50 quid and i had to use my own cartridges - I've been done!!!!
  2. I think i'd do it and blame it on a big boy who ran away!!
  3. Well, there's always the one about the dyslexic devil worshipper who sold his soul to santa............sorry.........******!
  4. Textspeak is for texting when you only have a wee little phone to use and the keys are small - When you have a nice big qwerty keyboard to use, please use it - Seems to be a lot of talk on here about being English (Sorry to the Irish, Scotch and Principalities ), so would think that using the language in its beautiful long form would be in order. Otherwise: 2b or not 2b, wot is you chatting about innit!! knowwhatimean, respek!
  5. They are stamped in the metal as numbers on the outside of the chokes (The chokes stand proud of the barrels by about half an inch and the number is stamped just before the thread) - There are no notches anywhere to be seen which is the confusing bit!! Might try and get a picture of it to help explain a little better, but they are stamped very small, so may not come out. Many thanks for all your efforts fellas!
  6. Clever Mirage T2's Shoot really well and virtually elimate any recoil whatsoever.
  7. Thanks for that TLE - Only trouble is that mine are numbered 5, 7 and 10!!! I've tried googling, but nothing seems to explain the 7 and the 10 bit - Sizewise 10 is the tightest choke. Anyone else shed any light?
  8. I've got a 12g o/u Lanber game gun with a set of 5 chokes, 2 numbered 5, 1 numbered 7 and 2 numbered as 10 - Anyone got any idea of what they translate to please? Would have thought that the 5 and 10 would be improved and 1/4, but the 7 in the middle is making me wonder. Any brainiacs out there?
  9. Taggy - Airgun centre is very good - Helpful staff and good quality service with excellent guarantees (Lifetime i believe). Enjoy!
  10. If they're still available, please consider me - Am in Kent a lot of weekends
  11. I tend to use 32g 6's for live quarry, but 28 g 8's for clays as you'll tend to fire more shots in one sitting (as it were) and it's easier on the shoulder and wallet
  12. Had that with a Lincoln, but it progressed to the point where i would not get a second barrel when i was using cartridges or a double discharge - Got it mended for 30 quid and now works lovely!!
  13. Nickname is Splat, i'm reasonably fat and cat sounded good in the middle!!
  14. Loads of 'em in my neck of the woods - There's actually a agted and fenced off preservation area near Tilbury where they are trying to get the numbers up They like to lurk in the long grass and are very jumpy and will bite, although more from fear than actual aggression i think
  15. Think i agree with Tinbum - I'm lucky enough to do a couple of corporate shoots every year and get to have a go on some very saucy London guns - They do look lovely and a huge amount of effort goes into making them (and paying for them!!), but i manage to hit far more and feel a damned sit more comfortable shooting with my £200 lanber !
  16. Been looking at the site for a while and thought it was about time i popped my head above the parapet and said hello! Have been shooting (poorly) for a couple of years, mainly on clays, but have just joined a rough shoot and loving it!
