  11. thats the way i used my falcon nv scope on top of my rimfire with a deben tracer and ir filter with 12v battery in a bum bag,i had to use it on a bipod in a prone position as it was very hard to shoot standing up.im currently on the lookout for a gen 2/3 nv scope ive got the money but i just cant bring myself to let go of that much all in one go .
  12. i think ive posted this before.i used to work with a guy that lived in a block of flats and he would regularly catch the ferals that used to land on his balcony and eat them.as far as i know he never came to any harm however he was a little strange as he used to remove the leg rings from the racers and wear them in his dreadlocked hair
  13. hi mate i dont know how to do pics or links but if you do a google and go to willenhall airguns then go to the bottom of the page and click on air pistols it looks identical to the black compact with walnut grips but obviously its a blank firer not a tac gun.
  14. as it says above guys i have for sale a me38 compact 9mm blank firer, its only fired 6 blanks so its in good condition i also have a couple of blanks to throw in with it.id like £30 ono plus p+p .cheers for looking.

  19. gemini,i would have thought you would see quite a few in your area now (west mids) on our journey home between bridgnorth and trysul my friend and i counted almost 30 that we think were all different birds.that was around a month ago and we havent seen that many since but we regularly see 3,4 or 5 together i even see quite a few while im at work now driving around the dudley area.in the last year or so the birds of prey really seem to have increased in numbers in the areas that i shoot.its very pleasing because it was only a few years ago that the only buzzards i ever saw were the ones that my friends used to keep. .
  20. now sold .thanks for looking
  21. ive got to agree guys hitting things on gate posts isnt the way to go ,with rabbits i hold the back legs in my left hand with my right hand on the back of its head with my fingers under its chin with a tight grip then push your right hand away from your left while bending the head back it only takes a split second.(do it forcefully you need to feel the neck break )as for pigeons i hold them by the head and give them a flick of the wrist its very quick but hard to put into words you would be better to watch someone do it first before trying it.if you are unsure just use a small priest its much easier on yourself and the animal in question.
  22. hi hill billy.the post by 1 of 5 was as far as i can see 100% correct the only thing that could be variable was the valuation of the gun as its only worth what somebody will pay for it,that having been said i think he was 100% correct on that point too.if you search back through a few of the airgun threads you will find that 1 of 5 is one of the most knowledgeable guys on the site when it comes to airguns,i cant vouch for his shooting ability but i can guarantee that his technical knowledge and information given is second to none mate and if you are serious about airgunning he would be one of the guys you would be wise to befriend.please do not take any offence at this post as its is meant as friendly advice mate and not a dig at you ,we all know what its like to buy what we thought was the greatest gun in the world and take it back to the gun shop a few months later for a trade in only to be told by the guy that sold it to you that its a worthless piece of junk that he would never put on his shelf.
  23. well done mate its the best feeling in the world .my kids are 9 and 11 now but i still get that smug feeling when i think back to the day they were born.
  24. we had a bbq on bonfire night and i made around 40 kebabs ,20 pigeon and 20 duck .just left the cubed pigeon and duck in marinade overnight then put them onto 10 inch kebab sticks with red/green peppers ,onions ,mushrooms and cherry tomatoes.they went down a storm .even the people that had never had pigeon / duck loved them.
